DSI Announces Another Significant Win—State of North Carolina Recovery Management

RALEIGH, NC - The North Carolina Division of Emergency Management (NCEM) announced today that it has awarded a new three year contract for professional disaster recovery services to Disasters, Strategies & Ideas Group (DSI).  This statewide contract includes a wide range of professional services related to FEMA Public Assistance, Mitigation, and Individual Assistance programs.  DSI has held this contract since 2013.  After receiving the word on the company’s continuing partnership with NCEM,  DSI CEO Joseph Myers said,

For this contract, DSI has teamed with North Carolina-based Blue Ridge Emergency Preparedness Group (BREPG), a highly respected firm of North Carolinians with extensive experience at the state and local level.  NCEM, which is housed within the NC Department of Public Safety, is one of the most respected, innovative, and productive State Emergency Management Agencies in the nation.  Under the leadership of Director Mike Sprayberry, NCEM is responsible to prepare for, respond to, and recover from a variety of disaster events (from hurricanes to ice storms) affecting a population of over 10 million residents and visitors in a highly diverse landscape from the Atlantic beaches to the Appalachian Mountains.  DSI will provide staff augmentation services for future major disasters.
